2023 Broadcast Dialogue – Canadian Radio Awards
Jax Irwin
Originally from Canada’s East Coast, radio and television host Jax Irwin has called Toronto home for nearly a decade. A proud alumni of NSCC’s RTA program, Jax has been heard across the country on AC & CHR stations – giving you entertainment updates or interviewing some of music’s biggest names.
After landing the Midday Host position on KiSS 92.5, Jax relocated to Ontario in 2015. From there she moved on to her most recent role as Morning Co-Host on 99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto, which wrapped up in June 2023. As a member of and advocate to the LGBTQ2S+ community, Irwin uses her on-air platforms to advocate for important issues in her city and beyond. With regular appearances on The Social, Your Morning, CTV News and more, Irwin has developed a notable brand; both on-screen and on the air. Beyond radio and television, Jax is well known for her digital media – using a unique combination of heart and humour to make her Instagram and TikTok followers take life a little less seriously.
