Kylee Winn
Kylee Winn is a multimedia content creator and storyteller. Her work has been featured on a wide range of media outlets, including CTV’s The Social, KiSS 92.5, 98.1 CHFI, and The Globe and Mail. Larry Gifford
Larry Gifford is a veteran broadcaster, media executive and advocate with more than three decades of experience in radio and audio storytelling. He is currently President and Co-Founder of PD Avengers, the Global Alliance to End Parkinson’s. Previously, Larry served as National Director of Talk for Corus Entertainment and held senior programming roles with ESPN Radio, ESPN Los Angeles, Bonneville Seattle, Fox Sports Radio and WBNS in Columbus. A programmer, talent coach, host, reporter and content creator, his work has been recognized with an NAB Crystal Award, Webby Award, RTDNA Canada award and Signal Awards. Larry is based in Vancouver.
Lisa Drew
Lisa Drew has logged 30 plus years in the radio news biz as an award-winning morning news anchor and reporter. Lisa’s series on teen suicide, domestic violence, and sex trafficking, as well as her morning newscasts, have been recognized by RTDNA Canada and RTDNA. She also shares a National U.S. Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. She has held numerous roles with Rogers Sports & Media in Kitchener including reporter, traffic reporter and morning news anchor and managing editor with CityNews 570. She has also held morning show news and traffic roles on CHYM 96.7. She’s also served as a past judge with RTDNA Canada. Lisa currently teaches radio news and journalism courses at Conestoga College and was named Conestoga’s Mentor of the Year in 2024.
Meredith Geddes
Meredith Geddes is a Canadian radio broadcaster with more than 20 years of experience behind the mic. She has hosted every daypart, and worked every format for some of Canada’s biggest radio brands, including Rogers (JACK FM, SONiC) and Corus (CFOX, 102.1 The Edge). She has been on-air in markets including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Halifax and London. Her career has included everything from building shows and interviewing artists and entertainers to connecting with listeners and bringing her unique perspective to the air every day.
Evelyn Macko
Evelyn Macko is an award-winning broadcast journalist and a forerunner of women in radio.
She was the first woman on-air at CKTB St. Catharines, and the first woman to read morning radio news at CFTR Toronto. Evelyn was also a ‘day-oner’ at 680 News, in addition to stops at AM 640, Q107, Newstalk 1010 CFRB, EZ Rock and Boom 97.3. She also served as a professor at Seneca and Humber Colleges for more than 20 years.
Paul Larsen
Paul Larsen’s Canadian radio career spans 40 years. He started on-air at CKNL Fort St John in 1986, then moved through CHUB Nanaimo and CKNW Vancouver before shifting into management in 1992 as Operations Manager at Nornet Communications, followed by roles at Corus’s Country 105 Calgary and Newcap’s 103.1 The Breeze Calgary. In 2004 he returned to B.C. to run Island Radio’s six Vancouver Island stations, then in 2007 launched his own group, Clear Sky Radio, with stations in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Cranbrook, selling it in 2019. He later revived bankrupt CKOO Kelowna during the pandemic as CKOV 103.9 The Lake, selling it to Pattison Media in Spring 2024. He now advises independent media companies and holds a minority stake in Blackgold Broadcasting’s three Alberta stations.
Ed Garcia
Ed Garcia is an award-winning broadcaster with almost 20 years experience behind the mic.
Ed was most recently heard on Winnipeg’s Power 97, hosting Power Afternoons, River City Rocks, and Iconic Albums (also heard on 102.1 the Edge, CFOX, 107.3 The Edge, Y108, FM96, 107.5 Dave Rocks, and 101.5 The Wolf), and also served as the assistant program director. Ed was previously on-air in Vancouver on CFOX, CKNW, and AM730.
Caroline Seifert Parker
Caroline Seifert Parker has worked in TV and radio for nearly four decades, starting in VTR at 2/7 TV Calgary. She went on to join CKND-TV Winnipeg, MITV and CBC-TV in Halifax, and later CJOB Winnipeg. She returned to Halifax in 2000, most recently heard in mornings on JACK 92.9 (CFLT-FM) for 13 years, alongside her longtime co-host Griff Henderson.
